StreetCam provides recording capabilities of events inside and outside of the vehicle while in motion. This device tracks the speed in either MPH or KMH as well as an integrated video resolution of MAX.50 fps (channel/30fps), VGA (640 x 480).
StreetCam automatically records when an accident occurs. (Default setting is 20 seconds of total record time before and after the event occurs). In the event of an emergency, pushing the emergency button will record the event immediately. During sudden impact, acceleration or braking, the device will begin recording automatically.

A: The StreetCam software will allow the user to review data such as miles per hour, location (on Google Earth), and view events.
The user has the capability to setting their event preferences. For example, if the company wants to ensure that their drivers are not exceeding 65 miles per hour the unit can set to mark every time the vehicle excels over 65 miles per hour. Other event settings are bumps or impacts, this sensor can be set to pick up everything from bumps in the road to hitting curbs or hard impacts.
StreetCam software also allows for easy conversion to an AVI file. This will allow for files to be sent to viewers that do not have the StreetCam software. Once converted into AVI, the file can be viewed on most media players.
Q: What type of power is required for operation?
A: StreetCam operates on a 12 volt power source. The system can easily plug into the in-car lighter or additional AUX power source. The system will then turn on and off with the vehicle.
Another option is to have the StreetCam wired into the ignition power. This will eliminate external wires and prevent the power source from being disconnected. This will still allow the system to turn on and off with the vehicle.

Additional Storage is also available with our optional accessories. StreetCam offers additional upgrades such as external hard drives of either 250GB or 500GB. This external drive is secure from vandalism and can connect to your computer with an USB cord.
